Carole was a gift to us all and touched countless lives.
A woman of infinite kindness, Carole lived not for possessions or praise, but for people.
If you knew her, even once, you remembered her. And if she knew you, she never forgot you.
She was a faithful Catholic who never imposed her beliefs — she simply lived them.
She sang at Mass, collected charity mission boxes, and volunteered quietly behind the scenes, always choosing humility over recognition. Christmas was never missed, nor was a soul forgotten.
She sent cards, gave gifts, and made people feel seen — whether you were close family or a friend of a friend.
Her generosity had no limit. She gave to the homeless, shopped at the charity shops, donated, did fundraising for charities.
She answered every phone call, and made space in her heart for everyone.
She was abundant with love and believed in shared experiences, connection, and loyalty more than anything else.
She was sweet but firm, gentle but unbreakable. Her compassion was paired with fairness, and her kindness never wavered — not at work, not in life, not even in conflict.
She never held a grudge, and always gave second chances. She forgave without needing to be asked. Her employees loved her. Her friends adored her. Even her elementary school peers remembered her decades later.
She was a brilliant mother, raising strong sons through difficult times and setting an example of how to love unconditionally. She cared for her parents, her husband, her children, and everyone in her orbit.
She traveled the world to be with her family. She was always the one who picked up the phone, who organized the plan, who stayed up late to make sure everything and everyone was okay.
Carole was the calm in the storm. She didn’t show stress even when the weight of the world was on her shoulders, she remained patient, composed, and centered in faith. Her restraint was unmatched. Her endurance was divine.
She didn’t care for hobbies. Her only true passion was people. People were her joy, her mission, her life.
She mentored, led, advised, and listened. She defended the misunderstood. She healed without judgment. She accepted others wholly.
She was genuine to the core. She didn’t fake smiles. She didn’t try to impress. Her pride was in her family, not herself.
She lit up every room. She was present. She cared deeply. She had friends of 40+ years she still made time to visit.
She was everyone's confidante — reliable, trustworthy, and fiercely loyal.
She didn’t gossip. She didn’t abandon. No one was ever left behind.
She led by example. A selfless mother, and a friend to all.
Her life was a symphony of grace — filled with hugs, wine, laughter, long phone calls, long drives, and unconditional support.
She was always there. Always smiling. Always giving.
You can’t say all this about most people. But with Carole, you can — and more.
If there is a legacy we can carry forward, it is this:
Love more than you judge.
Listen more than you speak.
Give more than you have.
Forgive without needing to be asked.
Put God, family and people before everything else.
Carole McGuinness was — and still is — a light in this world.
She may have passed from our sight, but her example, her warmth, and her love remain with all who knew her.
She lived for others. And now, we live to honor her.
We love you Carole
xoxo
