We really appreciate the flowers, cards and words of support, but what we would really appreciate is to be able to book as many Masses as possible for Carole.
It is important to us because -
1. Not everyone can attend the funeral so a mass that is streamed live in her name is something we can attend in person or online.
2. Gregorian Masses are expensive because it's a series of 30 consecutive Masses so any contributions help cover the cost that goes towards supporting the monastery where they will be held.
I am sure some people have never heard of them before or do not know the significance. If so, the articles below explain why.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the most powerful prayer on Earth and one of the biggest ways to help someone who has passed is having a Mass said specifically for them, either for their purification in purgatory, or their glorification in Heaven.
We know it's hard to get around to going to a church to schedule one and filling out a Mass intention envelope.
So we wanted to make it easy, so if you’d like us to book a Mass for Carole on your behalf, we can go book one for you.
Hopefully Carole is already in Heaven which we pray that she is, if so those graces from the Mass strengthen others and will go back to you and your loved ones so nothing is wasted.
We want to give her every grace possible, and minimize any potential purification in purgatory, and Masses are the most powerful way to do that.
There’s no pressure. No expectation.
